UN Women Programme Analyst, Women’s Economic Empowerment Jobs in Kenya
Key Functions & Accountabilities
Contribute technically to programme strategies in Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE).
Provide substantive input to design and formulation of proposals and initiatives.
Coordinate AfDB and IFI proposals and initiatives across ESA Region.
Support implementation of WEE projects within RO and ESA Region.
Provide technical input to annual workplan and budget.
Lead implementation of programme activities and coordination of calls/requests for proposals.
Review and monitor implementing partner reports; train partners on Results Based Management.
Develop background documents, briefs and presentations on WEE.
Coordinate advocacy campaigns, events, trainings and workshops.
Support resource mobilization procedures and guidelines.
Create regional communication products and knowledge management tools.
Monitor progress of activities and finances using RBM tools; draft reports.
Provide inputs to donor reports and partnership strategies.
Monitor budget implementation and provide financial inputs.
Support inter‑agency coordination and draft background reports.

Recruitment Qualifications
Education
Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Human Rights, Gender/Women’s Studies, International Development, Economics or related field.
First‑level degree with 2 additional years of experience may be accepted.
Project/Programme Management certification an advantage.
Experience
At least 2 years’ progressively responsible work experience in programme/project implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting and capacity building.
Experience in WEE areas (entrepreneurship, Gender Responsive Procurement, Women’s Financial Inclusion) desirable.
Experience liaising with government agencies and donors including multilateral development banks desirable.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, web‑based management systems required.
Experience with modern ERP systems (preferably Oracle Cloud) desirable.
