Bridge Talent Management Shift-In-Charge/ Machine Operator Jobs in Kenya;Oversees safe, efficient and consistent operation of CPP Cast Film and Stretch Film extrusion lines during assigned shifts. Requires technical aptitude, logical problem‑solving, willingness to learn and hands‑on approach in manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CPP Cast Film and Stretch Film extrusion lines (start‑up, changeovers, production, shutdown).

Monitor machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, dosing, cooling, winding).

Ensure production follows schedules, specifications and formulations.

Track output, efficiency, waste and downtime.

Conduct basic troubleshooting; escalate complex issues to maintenance.

Monitor alarms, record faults and corrective actions.

Support quality checks (film thickness, width, roll weight, winding, appearance).

Segregate off‑specification/rejected products.

Supervise operators, assistants and helpers.

Allocate duties and enforce discipline, safety and housekeeping.

Maintain accurate production and shift records.

Conduct clear shift handovers.

Follow and enforce safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Collaborate with maintenance and production teams.

Maintain understanding of extrusion equipment (extruders, motors, drives, heaters, sensors, pumps, cooling, winding).

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Degree in relevant technical discipline.

Previous work experience not mandatory.

Exposure to plastic extrusion, cast film, blown film, stretch film, industrial

machinery, PLC equipment, motors/drives or maintenance an advantage.

Industrial attachment, internship or academic project experience considered.

Willingness to work shifts, including nights.
