Girl Child Network Project Officer - Dadaab Jobs in Kenya;Responsible for supporting coordination of county‑level activities and stakeholders in Kakuma and Dadaab, contributing to education systems strengthening, stakeholder engagement, financial reporting, and implementation of project activities in line with GCN policies and safeguarding standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Support coordination of county‑level activities and stakeholders in Kakuma and Dadaab.
Assist in stakeholder mapping and engagement to identify key actors, influence, power dynamics, and coalition opportunities for education reform.
Support participatory processes for co‑creating education systems‑strengthening strategies, action plans, and change pathways.
Implement activities in accordance with GCN policies, partner requirements, safeguarding standards, and government frameworks.
Contribute to preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain organized systems for filing and retrieving financial records and supporting documents.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably in the NGO sector.
Ability to engage effectively with communities and stakeholders.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to mobilize diverse groups of community members and stakeholders.
Strong facilitation skills, including participatory training methods.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with significant experience working with children affected by crisis/conflict.
