Kisii University Senior Laboratory Technologist I Jobs in Kenya


Job Description

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:

  • Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Senior Laboratory Technologist II or in a comparable position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of specialization from a recognized and accredited institution.

  • Registration with a relevant professional body (where applicable).

  • Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized and accredited institution.

  • Valid practising license from the relevant professional body (where applicable).

  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Responsibilities

  • Supervising laboratory operations and staff.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Supporting teaching, research, and practical training activities.

  • Maintaining and upgrading laboratory equipment and resources.
