International Rescue Committee HR Systems Analyst (Security & Integrations) Jobs in Kenya;Own the functional design, build and maintenance of Workday’s integration layer and security configuration. Design, test and harden integrations between Workday and downstream systems, configure security groups and policies, and build rule‑based automation for high‑volume HR processes.

Responsibilities

Integration Design & Maintenance

  • Design, build, test and maintain Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio and Orchestrate.

  • Connect Workday with payroll, benefits providers and other third‑party systems.

  • Own functional design for Workday security and integrations.

  • Configure and maintain security groups and policies aligned to IRC’s data classification standard.

  • Build rule‑based automation for structured processes using Orchestrate and EIBs.

  • Monitor integration health and troubleshoot failures proactively.

  • Test and validate integrations during Workday releases and functional changes.

    Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Gather requirements from HR and non‑HR partners.

  • Map data elements and collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Finance and IT teams.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

  • Produce reporting and dashboards on integration performance and security compliance.

  • Perform special projects as needed.

    Key Working Relationships

    Reports to: Global HR Systems Product Manager

    Internal: Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, IT, Information Security

    External: Workday, Cornerstone, ADP and other third‑party vendors

    Requirements

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • Hands‑on experience building and maintaining Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio).

  • Working knowledge of Workday Orchestrate a strong plus.

  • Understanding of Workday’s security framework and data classification standards.

  • Experience with large datasets, data relationships and cleansing practices.

  • Intermediate understanding of relational database concepts.

    Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional problem‑solving and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems a plus.

    Preferred

  • Workday Pro certification in Integrations or Security.

  • Experience with international nonprofits and low‑bandwidth environments.

  • Experience with data migration and systems integration projects.
