Qualifications and Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

  • Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university/college (mandatory).

  • Relevant professional qualifications and registration with the appropriate professional body.

  • Teaching and clinical experience preferred.

  • Evidence of research and scholarly activities is an added advantage.

  • Must satisfy requirements of Chapter 6 of the Kenyan Constitution.

    Responsibilities

  • Teaching and mentoring students in Psychiatry.

  • Conducting clinical practice and supervision.

  • Engaging in research and scholarly activities.

  • Supporting departmental academic and professional development.
