Qualifications

  • Diploma in Applied Sciences (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry), Laboratory Technology or Biotechnology from a recognized institution.

    Job Summary

    This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sterilize laboratory glassware.

  • Document and receive samples for analysis.

  • Prepare laboratory reagents.

  • Prepare and analyze geological samples and gemstones.

  • Dispose of laboratory waste safely.
