Key Responsibilities

Agency Payroll, Commissions & Benefits

  • Prepare, validate and process monthly agency payroll, commissions, overrides, retainers, incentives and benefits.

  • Process adjustments, reversals, clawbacks, advances, recoveries and deductions accurately.

  • Maintain agent benefit, allowance and entitlement records.

  • Implement approved career path programs, benefits, incentive schemes and campaigns.

    Data Management, Reconciliations & Controls

  • Verify and maintain agent master data, bank details, tax information and remuneration records.

  • Reconcile payroll, benefits, policy and finance data across systems including General Ledger.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, duplicate/missing payments and incorrect deductions.

  • Maintain audit trails and support audits, compliance reviews and control improvements.

    Agency Operations Support

  • Track sales force account debits and credits, ensuring recovery and clearance of balances.

  • Support coding of sales teams per company guidelines.

  • Facilitate onboarding of sales teams and provision of tools of trade.

  • Coordinate sales management meetings, awards forums and agency support activities.

  • Support learning and development initiatives for sales force.

    Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Prepare monthly reports and analysis on payroll, commissions, incentives, benefits and deductions.

  • Track and report sales force business acquisition activities and partnerships.

  • Respond to remuneration and benefits queries and provide statements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve payroll and benefits issues, escalating high‑risk matters.

    Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, authority limits, regulatory requirements and tax laws.

  • Safeguard confidentiality of payroll and remuneration information.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities through
    reviews, audits and analytics.

    Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, Insurance or related field.

    Job Skills & Requirements

  • Numerical accuracy and reconciliation skills.

  • Analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability.

  • Knowledge of internal controls, compliance and confidentiality standards.

  • Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

  • Planning, organization and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality service delivery.

    Professional Qualifications

  • CPA, ACCA, CIFA, IIK, LOMA, HR or Insurance qualification an added advantage.

    Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant experience in payroll, commissions, finance or insurance operations.

  • Working knowledge of payroll systems, ERP systems, insurance administration systems, agency management systems and advanced Excel.
