SBM Bank Manager - Management Reporting Jobs in Kenya

SBM Bank Manager - Management Reporting Jobs in Kenya;Responsible for preparation, analysis, and delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful management reports and financial analysis to support performance monitoring, strategic planning, and informed decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

Management Reporting (40%)

  • Prepare management accounts in line with IFRS and prudential guidelines.

  • Analyse performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, highlighting key variances.

  • Monitor daily income and expense reporting lines and correct mis‑posts.

  • Develop financial reports, presentations, and insightful commentary on trends.

  • Assist in preparation of Board, ALCO, EXCO packs and ad hoc reports.

  • Prepare key ratios and branch profitability reports.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes.

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of management reporting.

  • Assist in preparation of annual financial statements.

    Regulatory Reporting (40%)

  • Support preparation and submission of CBK and KDIC reports.

  • Collate, validate, and reconcile information for CBK reporting.

  • Review GL balances and mappings for consistency.

  • Assist in preparation of quarterly financial publications.

    Audit Support (20%)

  • Coordinate external audit activities and facilitate timely resolution of queries.

  • Conduct financial reviews and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.

  • Ensure accuracy,
    quality, and controls in reporting processes.

    Qualifications / Work Experience

  • Academic Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (required).

  • Professional CPA or ACCA qualification (required).

  • Professional Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Finance.

  • Professional Strong knowledge of IFRS, CBK prudential guidelines, and financial reporting standards.

  • Professional Proficiency in MS Office, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems.

  • Professional Ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.

  • Professional Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
