Liberty Life Business Development Manager - Broker Channel Jobs in Kenya;Responsible for driving implementation of the sales strategy for the corporate market segment through broker channels to achieve departmental growth objectives. Reports to the Head, Corporate Business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in formulation and implementation of sales strategy aligned to business growth.

  • Identify broker business opportunities, negotiate, and close deals within company guidelines.

  • Manage and maintain corporate client relationships to drive cross‑selling, upselling, and new acquisitions.

  • Drive sales targets through focused partner relationships under the broker channel.

  • Recruit and manage broker partners to expand business opportunities.

  • Provide accurate and competitive quotations across product lines promptly.

  • Conduct continuous product training for brokers to ensure professionalism and compliance.

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic corporate clients to enhance revenue growth.

  • Develop market intelligence on portfolio accounts, competitor analysis, and industry trends.

  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, marketing staff, and managers to maximize revenue.

    Qualifications / Work Experience

  • Academic Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Marketing, or related discipline (required).

  • Professional Diploma in Insurance (ACII or AIIK) and membership of CII or IIK (required).

  • Professional Minimum of ten (10) years’ insurance industry experience, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.

  • Professional Strong sales and marketing skills, insurance product knowledge, and understanding of underwriting processes.

  • Professional Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements and operations.

  • Professional Competencies in stakeholder management, strategy execution, planning, networking, and communication.
