Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with at least Upper Second‑Class honors.
At least one (1) year of teaching experience in a recognized academic institution.
Must be registered for the relevant Master’s degree programme.
Must be registered by the Pharmacy & Poisons Board.
Reporting To
Dean, School of Pharmacy
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Participate in curriculum development and review.
Prepare course outlines to guide effective delivery and coverage of the syllabus.
Develop learning content to ensure adequate coverage of the course outline.
Teach Diploma and Certificate courses.
Set, invigilate, and administer examinations; provide progressive reports to the Department.
Supervise students’ projects and attend defence meetings.
Carry out research, prepare publications, and participate in conferences to disseminate knowledge.
Attract funding to support University research.
Facilitate field studies and assess students during attachments, trips, and internships.
Participate in official University meetings and functions.
Monitor class attendance sheets to ensure students meet required lecture attendance before examinations.
Carry out administrative and other duties as may be assigned.
