Cargill Origination Coordinator Jobs in KenyaCargill Ag and Trading in Kenya is involved in the origination and sale of grains and oilseeds including maize, wheat, soybeans and soybean meal within Kenya and the wider East Africa. The Origination Coordinator will handle a moderately complex supplier base and fulfill transactions delivering commodities that meet production requirements and specifications in terms of timing, volume, quantity and cost.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with transportation, logistics, quality assurance, customer managers and finance teams for efficient execution.

  • Plan purchases and transportation to maximize profitable use of stock and storage facilities.

  • Research and analyse freight opportunities with transport/logistics to maximize margin.

  • Work directly with customers, suppliers and counterparts to solve routine problems and address complaints.

  • Enter routine data and run specialty reports from contract management systems.

  • Process sales and purchase contracts accurately into ERP system across multiple sites.

  • Resolve unclear contract points by liaising with responsible departments.

  • Process contract amendments based on validated input from sales, trade and supply chain teams.

  • Support merchandising by aligning intercompany sales and purchase book.

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating complex ones.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or related.

  • Minimum 4 years’ related work experience.

  • Proficiency in data analytics and AI fluency.

  • Flexibility to work outside assigned workstation in Eldoret and travel within East Africa.

  • Valid and clean Kenyan driving license.

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply.
