Sports Kenya Deputy Director - Facilities & Estates Jobs

Job Description

Prepare and implement divisional budget

Manage operations of facilities effectively and efficiently

Coordinate, plan, and manage events

Participate in letting of vacant properties and rent reviews

Oversee repair and maintenance of facilities

Initiate development and review of divisional guidelines

Coordinate implementation of divisional guidelines

Develop long‑term and short‑term plans for facilities programs

Initiate interventions for refurbishment and modernization of facilities

Ensure optimal utilization of facilities

Job Specifications

Minimum of 15 years cumulative relevant work experience, with at least 3 years at management level or in a comparable position

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Exercise, Leisure and Recreation Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Master’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Exercise, Leisure and Recreation Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Certificate in Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution

Membership with a professional body in good standing, where applicable

Proficiency in computer applications

Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
