Kenya Medical Association Jobs

Location: Kenya.

Kenya Medical Association Sacco ltd is looking for self motivated and hardworking individuals to fill the following positions in the rapidly expanding Sacco;

Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Officer

The Administrative Officer shall be answerable to the General Manager and shall be responsible for our busy reception and switch board.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing correspondence in the Sacco and attend to all visitors and customers in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a good corporate image of the organization and ensure first class customer service.
  • Schedule and maintain the Diary of appointments and meetings and make necessary arrangements for the same.
  • Carry out all front office duties as assigned and ensure teamwork with the rest of the office team.
  • Assisting in other office duties as shall be assigned by
  • General Manager and or the board from time to time.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma in Public relations and customer care/ co-operative management/secretarial/ front office operations or Business Administration from a reputable institution.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft office packages and good typing speed and excellent communication skills.
  • At least 3 years working experience in a front office set-up or Administrative Assistant position.
  • Aged between 25 – 35 years.

    Office Assistant

    The Office Assistant will report to the Administrative Assistant and shall be responsible for support services in the Sacco offices and other duties as assigned:

    Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Carry out Cleaning and tiding up of the Sacco offices and facilities as required.
  • General support duties for the Sacco as shall arise and assigned in the day to day running of the Sacco.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • At least K.C.S.E Qualification with a grade of D and above.
  • Personal integrity and in possession of a certificate of good conduct.
  • Aged 22- 28 years.
  • Ability to ride a motor bike and in possession of a valid driving licence.

    Lead Consultant for KAP Study

    Scope of Work

  • Prepare and submit a research proposal to the Institutional Research and Ethics Committee (IREC)
  • Convene technical working group (TWG) meetings that will comprise of experts in legal and medical aspects of SRHR
  • Collect data in collaboration with Muungano Support Trust (MuST)
  • Prepare a detailed report of findings that will inform KMA on:

    1. The health seeking behavior of women and girls of reproductive age in regard to FP and CAC

    2. Programmatic recommendations and interventions that are required to ensure delivery of FP and CAC services to the full extent of the law.

    Requirement

    We are seeking an individual with substantial experience in research on sexual and reproductive health, particularly family planning and comprehensive abortion care.

    Duration Assignment (Term)

    Twenty-four days staggered as follows: Ten days for research proposal preparation and submission to the Institutional Research and Ethics Committee; three separate meetings with the technical working group; 2 separate meetings with the Principal Investigator; 7 days to oversee data collection and analysis by MuST and two days to write the report.

    Submission of Proposals

    Your proposal should include a capacity statement, technical and financial components, and should not exceed three pages.

    The capacity statement should provide information on your relevant experience and qualification related to the assignment.

    The technical component should describe your understanding and interpretation of the terms of reference and how you plan to undertake the assignment.

    The financial component should include all anticipated costs including consultancy fees.
