Call for Projects: MAXQDA Grants - Women’s Empowerment


The first round took place in June 2023, coinciding with Pride Month and highlighting LGBTQI+ related research. Our second edition was in October 2023, highlighting research projects to fight against climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. To honor and celebrate Black History Month in February 2024 for our third round we aimed to promote research related to Black history, empowerment, and against inequality based on ethnicity and race. April 2024 will be all about research on women’s social inequality in the wake of International Women’s Day and a call for papers for feminist research on women’s empowerment.

Call for projects:

MAXQDA Grants in April 2024 – Women’s Empowerment
For the new round of our MAXQDA Grants #ResearchForChange, we want to focus thematically on research projects that center around various aspects of women’s empowerment. The women’s empowerment grants round is a time dedicated

to recognizing and promoting the rights and opportunities of women worldwide. We invite submissions of original research papers addressing a wide range of topics related to women’s empowerment, including but not limited to:

Gender equality and social justice

Economic empowerment of women

Women’s leadership and political participation

Women’s health and reproductive rights

Gender-based violence and discrimination

Education and skill development for women and girls

Intersectionality and marginalized women’s experiences

Women’s empowerment in the workplace and entrepreneurship

Cultural and societal norms affecting women’s empowerment

Technology and innovation for advancing women’s rights
