Job Descriptions

  • Developing policies and strategies for the department;

  • Ensure efficient billing, revenue collection, disbursements, accounting and reporting;

  • Making revisions to the tariff charged to the consumer’s subject to approval of water services Regulatory Board and ensuring proper implementation of the same;

  • Advising the Managing Director on the financial viability of the Company;

  • To improve the quality and effectiveness of services provided by the Company through advocacy and sensitization workshops to the Consumers;

  • Enter into partnership or any arrangement directly or indirectly for the benefit of the Company and that of the consumers;

  • Authorizing closure of accounts as per the approved procedures and policies.

    Job Specifications

  • Bachelor degree in: Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Business Administration or its equivalent.

  • Certified Public Accountant - CPA (K)

  • 5 years of relevant experience with (2) years in a supervisory role.

  • Membership to a professional body will be an added advantage.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
