Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gathering, compiling and analysing information on commitments and expenditure trends

  • Compiling information required on budget monitoring and expenditure control

  • Initiating reallocations within the budget

  • Participating in budget preparation;

  • Taking initial action on budget monitoring; and

  • Drafting reports and briefs on budgetary issues.

    Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: - Commerce (Finance or Accounting Option), Business Administration (Finance or Accounting Option), Business Management (Finance or Accounting Option) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

  • Certified Public Accountant II (CPA II) by Kenya Accounts and Secretaries Examination Board (KASNEB) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

  • Proficiency in computer applications; and

  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution

  • An applicant with at least three (3) years working experience in similar position will have an added advantage
