Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembling food supplies and equipment for daily preparation;

  • Preparing raw food for cooking;

  • Cleaning equipment used in production;

  • Maintain hygiene by ensuring cleaning of the kitchen and its surroundings;

  • Setting up and preparing equipment for use in food preparation and production, and reporting on any defective equipment.

  • Any other duty that might be assigned by the Supervisor

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Be a Kenyan citizen (attach ID)

  • Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education mean grade D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification.

  • Craft Certificate in Food and Beverage Production, Sales and Service or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  • A medical report from a Government Health facility.
