The Wildlife Clubs of Kenya is pleased to announce the annual national competition to empower youth and communities to proactively engage in wildlife and environmental conservation.

Categories

Artwork category

Interpret the theme "Combat Climate Change, Restore Nature for Posterity" in art.

Photography category

Capture a unique scenario(s) that explains climate change and its effects to humanity and wildlife

Essay category

Upper Primary

Write an essay on the causes of climate change and how you together with your school mates can help to reduce its effects

Junior Secondary

Write a poem entitled; "Echoes of a warming world: A Poetic Journey through Climate Change"
Secondary School

Climate change is a critical global issue affecting the planet and its inhabitants.
Write an essay explaining what climate change is, its causes, impacts, and what actions individuals and communities can take to address it.

Tertiary Institutions

"Discuss the role of individual responsibility versus governmental action in addressing climate change. In your essay, analyze the effectiveness of both approaches and provide recommendations for a comprehensive strategy to combat climate change in the 21st century."

Eligibility Criteria

The photography category is open to ages 9-25 years.

Use any art media for Artwork, minimum size A3

You are free to submit your entries in any of the categories

Each entry must have the official student's name, class, full name of the school and county, a valid email of the school or the teacher and a telephone number
