TakaTaka Solutions Logistics Intern Jobs in Kenya

Logistics Intern will work closely with our logistics department to support the planning, coordination, and execution of transportation and distribution activities. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics operations within the waste management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and scheduling of transportation routes for waste collection and disposal.

Coordinate with drivers and external partners to ensure timely pickup and delivery of waste materials.

Track and monitor the movement of waste trucks and containers to ensure efficient operations.

Assist in inventory management and optimization of storage facilities.

Support the logistics team in analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement in transportation efficiency.

Participate in field visits to waste collection sites and disposal facilities to gain practical insights into logistics operations.

Qualifications:

Dip/Bachelor's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Passion for environmental sustainability and waste management.
