At Growthpad, we owe our success to the efficiency of organizational processes. To help maintain and grow this standard, we’re seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven success in managing multiple departments for maximum productivity. This person will be highly skilled in human resources, finance, and IT management, and be able to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion.

Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in operations management (or a related field) and have prior experience in a management or leadership position. A deep understanding of financial management is also a plus.

Objectives of this role

Maintain constant communication with department leads, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols

Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity

Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget

Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments

Responsibilities

Mastermind business growth strategies to help meet organizational goals and objectives

Analyze data and create reports to identify areas of business growth

Bid on new projects (RFPs, RFQs, etc)

Build and nurture client relationships in order to continue winning new contracts

Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth

Package products and services including pricing to drive sustainable revenue growth

Drive overall company revenue growth by implementing modern sales and business development strategies

Work with other department heads to determine company goals and KPIs

Conduct market research to inform strategic business decisions

Oversee sales

efforts to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals

Negotiate new projects and contract terms with new clients

Lead the business development team

Requirements and qualifications:

Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role minimum 5 years in such roles.

Experience working for a technology company, agency or consulting firm

Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

Experience budgeting and forecasting

Familiarity with business and financial principles

Excellent communication skills

Leadership experience

Outstanding organizational skills

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field

Working knowledge of management software programs, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, and CenterPoint Payroll

Strong IT skills, including database development

Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience

Ability to communicate in more than one language

Responsibilities

Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service

Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems

Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant

Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.

Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.

Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.

Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.

Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
