Call for Proposals: XIV “Africa Objective” Photo Contest

Casa África calls its XIV “Africa Objective” Photographic Contest , which will reward the photographs that best reveal the positive aspects of the African continent in the field of Biodiversity in Africa , which is this year's theme.

Objective Africa, always oriented to knowing the positive aspects of the African continent, focuses in this edition on the environment and biodiversity, to contribute to the dissemination of the African natural heritage that invites us to think and visualize the richness of this biodiversity and its necessary conservation for the continent and the planet.

The theme can also be extended to climate change and its economic and social impact from a sustainability point of view. In addition, the photographs must show an optimistic approach , with the aim of continuing to break down the stereotypes that have traditionally marked the African continent.

The call to submit photographs will remain open until May 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. (GMT +0)

Each applicant may participate with a maximum of five (5) photographs that will be presented online through the MundoArti platform . Photographs must be sent in JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 200 dpi and a weight between 1 and 5 MB.

The jury, made up of prominent professionals in the field of arts, will assess creativity, the innovation of the technique used and the way in which the message is transmitted. The description and title of the photograph will also be evaluated under these criteria.

The prizes for this 14th edition of Objective Africa are:

First prize: €1000

Second prize: €500

Third prize: €300
