Job descriptions

  • Developing policies and strategies for the Department.

  • Ensure efficient billing, revenue collection, disbursements, accounting and reporting.

  • Making revisions to the rates charged to the consumers subject to approval by water services Regulatory Board (WASREB) and ensuring proper implementation of the same.

  • Advising the Managing Director on the financial viability of proposed projects and
    investments.

  • Improving the quality and effectiveness of services provided by the Company through advocacy and sensitization workshops to the Consumers.

  • Facilitate the Acquisition, establishment and construction of water works and other premises and facilities necessary in enhancing the services of the company.

  • Enter into partnership or any arrangement directly or indirectly for the benefit of the Company and that of the consumers.

  • Authorizing closure of accounts as per the approved procedures and policies.

    Job Specifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce, Business Management or its equivalent.

  • A certified Public Accountant- CPA (K).

  • Five (5) years’ experience in a relevant field.

  • Proficiency in Computerized financial systems.

  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
