Stellar Human Resource Solutions Accountant Jobs in Kenya

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including financial data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting. They will also assist with budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance, and financial analysis. The Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including financial data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining general ledger accounts.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements, preparing and submitting tax returns as necessary.

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to support decision-making.

Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes, enhance controls, and improve the overall efficiency of financial operations.

Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to accounting principles and best

practices.

Support internal and external audits, providing necessary information and documentation as requested.

Qualifications

Experience working in the E-Commerce industry is a plus.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an added advantage.
