Duties and Responsibilities

  • The officer at this level may be deployed to help oversee the Supply Chain Management function in a department or a Supply Chain Management unit within a Department.

  • Processing of agenda for the tender committees and

  • Assisting in the implementation of decisions thereof.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

  • Be a Kenyan citizen (attach ID),

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following; -Commerce, Business Administration (Supply Chain Management Option), Procurement and Supplies Management or their equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

  • Possess a minimum experience in a comparable and relevant position for a minimum period of three (3) years;

  • Be a member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
