Highway Africa conference 2007

Highway Africa is an annual ICT conference hosted by Rhodes University which is situated in Grahamstown, South Africa.

Each year, more than 500 delegates from across the globe attend the conference to discuss issues relating to Internet governance, ICT policy and media for democracy.

Highway Africa has a limited number of scholarships for practising African journalists.

Interested journalists should submit the following information:

1. A curriculum vitae,

2. Letter of support from their editor or relevant employer,

3. A 300-word statement on why they are interested in attending Highway Africa and what will be done with the skills and information acquired.

Please submit the above, all together, via email (see below) by the 15th of June 2007.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and will be required to complete registration forms.
