Under the general guidance of the Representative, the officer will be responsible for programme planning, function and overseeing of monitoring and evaluation of a major programme in Kenya in line with Vision 2030 and other directives.

Your profile:
Advanced University degree in social sciences, or a related field.
Eight years of progressively responsible professional work experience at the national and international levels in social development, management, monitoring and evaluation.
Current knowledge of development issues, policies, as well as social programming policies and procedures in international development cooperation.
Proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas as well as transfer knowledge and skills.
Ability to supervise professional and support staff.
Good analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.
Computer skills, including internet navigation and various office applications.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working relationships both within and outside the organization.
Fluency in English and another UN language required.
Knowledge of the local working language of the duty station is an asset.
