MediaTek International Student Fellowships encourage outstanding international graduate students to study or undertake research in Taiwan. Students enrolled in master’s programs receive stipend for up to a maximum of two years; students enrolled in Ph.D. programs receive stipend for a maximum of four years. Each recipient shall receive a stipend between US$10,000 and US$15,000 per year.
The Mandela Rhodes Scholarships are open to all students across Africa. The goal of the Mandela Rhodes Scholarships Programme is to offer educational opportunities to all African citizens. Full Scholarships are offered for Honours or Masters Degrees (or equivalent) in any field.
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is offering scholarships for the Academic year 2008/2009. The scholarships can be used between 01.10.2008 and 30.09.2009 for: Italian language courses, Single university courses, Courses of higher artistic and musical education, Research, Post-graduate studies etc.
The Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise has announced that plans for the AIDS Vaccine 2008 Conference are under way. In order to encourage young investigators and those from developing countries to attend the meeting a large number of International Scholarships and Travel Awards are available.
Applications for the 2009-10 Rotary World Peace Fellowships and January 2009 Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program are now open. The Rotary World Peace Fellowship is for study at one of seven Rotary university partners to pursue a master's degree in international studies, sustainable development, peace, or conflict resolution.
Applications for the 2009-10 Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships are now open. Ambassadorial Scholarships provide funding for one academic year of study in another country & covers round-trip transportation, tuition, fees, room and board expenses, and some educational supplies up to USD$26,000.
The World of Children Awards were established to honour individuals or a group of individuals who devote their lives to children. In 2008, two grants of up to $100,000 each, will be given to support the proven, sustainable programs created and managed by adult Award Winners. Also this year, two grants of up to $25,000 each, will be presented to young people who are making extraordinary contributions to the lives of other children.
The Ewha Global Partnership Program Steering Committee invites applications for Undergraduate Scholarships at Ewha Womans University in Korea . This scholarship will cover the recipient’s tuition and Korean language training plus living expenses.
Applications are now open for the €15,000 HEC Forté Scholarships for studies in september 2008 and January 2009. The HEC Forté scholarships help improve leadership opportunities for women in business. The amount of Award is variable but up to €15,000.
Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme provides scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies. Scholarships are awarded through a competitive application process once a year in June or July.
The AFRICA 2009 Programme will offer successful candidates scholarships for tuition, international travel, and modest living expenses to attend the 6th Technical Course on Impact Assessment and Heritage in Sudan.
The Sheikh Kamal Adham fellowship is awarded annually by the American University in Cairo to a student who is a candidate for diploma in the Journalism and Mass Communication Department.The fellowship covers a waiver of tuition fees. Recipient will serve as assistant in the Adham Center for 80 hours per month during the academic year.
Raoul Wallenberg Institute offers funded internships for lawyers from developing countries. The lawyers undertake a six months internship at international and regional organizations, academic institutions and non-governmental organizations working in the field of human rights. The internship is offered every year.
The scholarships are meant to attract highly talented students from around the world to Saudi Arabia. KAUST offers general scholarships to students with one to three years remaining until completion of their first university (bachelor’s) degree. Students awarded the KAUST Discovery Scholarship will receive full funding for the remainder of their first university degree.
King Faisal Foundation Scholarships are awarded to outstanding Muslim from any country to undertake their postgraduate studies in science, medicine and engineering. Scholarships are tenable at any European, American or Canadian, New Zealand and Australian university. The program covers two to three years of study and provides full tuition and a generous monthly stipend.
The Josephine de Karman Fellowship Trust awards ten (10) fellowships, $20,000 for graduate students or $10,000 for undergraduate students every year. Study must be carried out only in the United States and all funds must be expended only within the US.
Fellowships are awarded to overseas scientists to visit Australia. Up to $A10,000 is available to cover economy airfares and assistance towards living expenses.
The University of Michigan invites applications for the Du Bois-Mandela-Rodney Fellowship Program from scholars working on Africa or the African diaspora. Consideration will be given to all disciplines. The fellowship package is worth $45,000 plus health insurance coverage.
