1. Distance Learning Scholarships for Students in African Commonwealth, London South Bank University About 20 distance learning scholarships are available in 2007 for scholars in African Commonwealth countries to study the MSc in Education for Sustainability at London South Bank University. For successful applicants, funding will cover all the costs of tutoring, assessment, study guides and readers, together with a travel grant for attendance at the Introductory week.
University College London (UCL) and the Africa Educational Trust (AET) have agreed to collaborate in a scheme to enable students from Africa, who are financially unable to study in the UCL. Each bursary will consist of full tuition fees and a maintenance allowance for the duration of the student’s programme of study, as well as economy air travel to/from the UK at the beginning and end of the bursary-holder’s degree programme.
4. Scholarship for Master in Water Resources Management - ICE WaRM, Australia ICE WaRM is offering international candidates the opportunity to further their education in the field of water resources management, in Australia. ICE WaRM offers full and partial scholarships which cover the cost of the programme (fee tuition).
4. Summer Course in Mathematics, University of Perugia, Italy These courses are directed towards young graduates wishing to study mathematics at a graduate level. Each participant is required to choose two courses for a total of 10 hours a week of lectures in addition to problem sessions. Daily attendance is compulsory for participants.
5. The Matsumae International Foundation Fellowships 2008, Japan Applications are invited for the 2008 Matsumae International Foundation Fellowships. Applicants must not be over 40 years of age at the time of application and shouldn't have been in Japan previously.
6. Financial Aids at The Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering The Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE) in NTUT offers both undergraduate and graduate programs, leading to the Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. degrees. All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields from an accredited institution.
7. Masters Studentship in Coastal Software Development, University College Cork, Ireland University College Cork, Ireland wishes to recruit an additional member to work on the EU ECOOP project. A two-year stipend, €16K p.a. plus tuition fees will be awarded.

International Master Course in Cell and Tissue and Biomedical Engineering - Keele University, UK Institue of Science and Technology in Medicine, Keele University, UK, offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes for biomedical professionals. Bursaries are available to Home and Overseas Students on a competitive basis.
9. MSc Fellowship - University College Dublin, Ireland A motivated and suitable MSc student is being sought for MSc Fellowship at the University of University College Dublin, Ireland. The student will receive an annual tax free stipend of €21000 for maintenance and to cover university fees.
10. Postgraduate Research Studentship in Mathematics, Loughborough University - UK Five highly motivated students are being sought for full-time three year research studentships in the Mathematics Education Centre at the University of Loughborough. The studentships will comprise full fees (at the UK/EU rate) plus £10,500 per annum maintenance grant.
11. MSc/PhD Studentships in Mechanical Engineering at Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland Applications are invited for a number of Ph. D. and M.Sc. studentship in the School of Engineering at Trinity College Dublin. The studentships include a maintenance grant of between €16,000 and €18,000 per annum, plus EU College fees and an allowance for consumables and travel.
12. PhD Studentship in Cancer Research, University of Plymouth, UK PhD candidates of outstanding ability are being sought to join University of Plymouth, UK for a PhD Studentship in Cancer Research. The stipends will be £12,300.

The gross monthly salary increases from EUR 1,956.- in year 1 to EUR 2,502.- in year 4, according to the Collective Employment Agreement of the Dutch Universities.
