PhD Studentships in Applied Microeconomics, Trinity College Dublin - Ireland

University of Dublin, Trinity College invites applications for a PhD Position in Applied Microeconomics.

The PhD student will be based at the Department of Economics, Trinity College Dublin.

The student will spend some time at the University of Kent in the UK and at the University of Wageningen in the Netherlands working with leading economists on farm survey data and project related modelling issues.


  • MSc degree or equivalent in Economics

  • An interest in applied microeconomics in particular agricultural or environmental economics.
  • Excellent quantitative skills (i.e. econometric modelling).

    Conditions of employment

    Stipend: €16,000 p.a. plus tuition fees

    Duration of the contract: 3 years beginning April 1st,
