Project Title: Genetic regulation of early seed development in Arabidopsis thaliana under the supervision of Dr Jose Gutierrez-Marcos.

The aim of the project is to identify genes that regulate early endosperm development in Arabidopsis and to investigate their role in seed performance.

This studentship is available to UK, EU and International candidates.

It is a requirement that overseas students pass an IELTS or TOEFL English Language proficiency test.

You must have or expect to receive a first or upper second class honours degree in a Biological Science subject or other appropriate subject by the start of the studentship.

There is an annual stipend of £12,300.
