The Dept. of Earth & Environmental Science, University of Pennsylvania, invites applicants for competitive PhD fellowships.
Possible areas of research include, but are not limited to:
temperature sensitivity of soil organic matter dynamics,
organic matter accrual during soil formation,
characterization of soil organic matter protection mechanisms.
The position is ideal for candidates who have completed an MSc. Position starts Fall 2007 and includes tuition and stipend.
