Job Description
- Capacity build Komku Trust’s livelihood approach to rural development – taking the lead in programme design, reviewing and preparing all technical elements of the livelihoods strategy
- Specifically focus on Komku Trust’s CBNRM component including tourism projects and cattle initiatives
- Assist field staff in programme implementation through providing technical guidance
- Assist in project identification by communities of livelihood initiatives and in the implementation thereof
- Ensure that staff is adequately trained to provide for effective facilitation services to communities in terms of livelihoods development
- Establish a mentoring relationship with the co-ordinator with regards to managerial duties including support in fundraising and report writing
