Location: Kenya (North Eastern Province - Wajir, Ijara, Mandera districts)

There is one position in each of the following locations: Garissa, Ijara district, Mandera district, and Wajir district.
The District Facility Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the day-to-day facility-based activities of the project at the district level, with an emphasis on reproductive health and HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support within hospitals, sub-district hospitals, health centers and health posts.
He/She will facilitate the clinical work being done by doctors, clinical officers, nurses, and laboratory workers to ensure that people and patients needing RH, HIV & AIDS and related services in different departments of the above mentioned facilities promptly receive quality care and referral that they may need.
Qualifications:
Education: KRCHN or equivalent or BSc Nursing degree.
Training and at least 5 years clinical and/or public health experience.
Proven ability to build strong relationships, work well as part of a team and facilitate the achievement of results.
Computer skills in word processing, and spreads. Knowledge in Epi Info and/or SPSS preferred.
Familiarity with the districts of operation and willingness to be based there.
Fluency in English. Somali a significant advantage.
