Requirements:
At least two year’s senior management experience working in emergency or relief programmes with an NGO or equivalent experience for another organization internationally with management responsibilities.
Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills to plan projects, timetable agreed activities and oversee staff activities.
Experience in budget management and proposal and report writing.
Excellent leadership skills and a flexible and motivated approach.
Comfortable in implementing a person centered approach to staff management.
An ability to engage with, listen to and motivate staff, both national and international, in a challenging environment.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural team, in a rural area where cultural sensitivity is important.
Ability and willingness to live in difficult, and occasionally stressful, conditions for extended durations
Good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
