30 Utrecht Undergraduate & Master's Scholarships
Selected students receive a scholarship for the duration of the degree programme, which is a maximum of two years for a Prestige Master and three years for a Bachelor degree. Approximately 30 scholarships are awarded each year at a maximum rate of 16 000 euro per year.
International Essay Contest for Young People
The Goi Peace Foundation, UNESCO and the Earthrise Society are inviting young people from around the world to participate in the 2008 International Essay Contest. 1st Prize: winners will receive a trip to Japan, a certificate and prize of 100,000 Yen (approx. US$840). 2nd Prize: Certificate and prize of 50,000 Yen (approx. US$420) for 2 entrants.
Entrepreneurial Teachers Prize
Pan-African Prize for Entrepreneurial Teachers was designed to recognize those teachers in Africa who ‘go the extra mile’ to find creative ways to bring education to their students and to acknowledge the huge contribution they make towards improving the lives of their fellow Africans.
18 Urban Studies Scholarships
18 Scholarships available for urban studies in Germany, Italy, France and Spain. The Urban Studies Scholarships cover the tuition fee plus a monthly allowance of € 1600 per month over 20 months.
Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Scholarships
Overseas candidates of African nationality are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be resident in Africa and must be returning to Africa, following completion of the Diploma in Hygiene & Tropical Medicine course. The value of the award is £9,000. The award will go towards tuition fees, living costs, flights and exam fees.
ICCR Scholarships - India
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations on behalf Government of India offers scholarships and fellowships to international students wishing to study in India in various programs and disciplines. Scholarships are also available for research work and non-formal courses (Religion, Classical Music, Dance and Crafts).
International Youth Photography Competition
The competition is open to anyone aged 11 – 24 from anywhere in the world. Forty-eight top images selected by a panel of photographers will be presented at the United Nations headquarters in New York for International Youth Day. Numerous prizes will be awarded.
Research and Exploration Grants
Grant amounts vary but range from U.S. $15,000 to $20,000. Applications are generally limited to the following disciplines: anthropology, archaeology, astronomy, biology, botany, geography, geology, oceanography, paleontology, and zoology.
Richard Metzler and Roland Berger AMCF MBA Scholarships
Applications are invited for the Richard Metzler and Roland Berger AMCF Scholarships. The candidate must evidence a commitment to pursuing a career in the field of management consulting. Applicants of any nationality are eligible.
International Competition of Wildlife & Nature Photography
The competition is open to any individual amateur or professional photographer whatever their age or nationality. The aim of the competition is to show pictures of fauna, flora and landscapes taken in the wild.

The MA in International Relations Scholarships cover the tuition fee plus a monthly allowance of € 1600 per month over 20 months for studies in Europe.
Italian Government Scholarships - Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research (SA)
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is offering scholarships for the Academic year 2008/2009. The scholarships can be used between 01.10.2008 and 30.09.2009 for: Italian language courses, Single university courses, Courses of higher artistic and musical education, Research, Post-graduate studies etc.
Constance McCullough Award
The Constance McCullough Award is awarded annually to assist a member of the International Reading Association in the investigation of reading-related problems and to encourage international professional development activities that are carried out in countries outside North America. It carries a monetary prize of US$5,000.
Scholarships for Masters in Special Education Needs
The Masters in Special Education Needs scholarships enable students to study at a variety of institutions across Europe. Graduate students receive a grant of €24,200 for the study programme. Scholar students receive a grant of €13,000 for three months’ study.
DAAD Scholarships in Africa and Abroad
DAAD is now accepting applications for scholarships. DAAD Scholarships have benefited hundreds of African students since inception. The scholarships are given each year to postgraduate students wishing to study for a master‘s or PhD degree. The DAAD scholarships can support students who want to study in their country (In Country Scholarships) or abroad.
MSc and MPH Public Health scholarships
University of Westminster is currently offering full MPH scholarships. The Public Health scholarship covers full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.
Google Australia Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship is worth $10,000,000 and is available to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Candidates must be female students on a B.Sc/B.Eng, or enrolled in an M.Sc/M.Eng or PhD program (or equivalent).
MA in Human Rights Scholarships
The MA in International Relations Scholarships cover the tuition fee plus a monthly allowance of € 1600 per month over 20 months for studies in Europe. The two-year full-time programme is taught in English in the UK, Sweden and Norway.
South African Association of Women Scholarships
South African Association of Women Scholarships enable non-South African women students to undertake research in South Africa. Open only to non-South African women.
Scottish International Scholarship Programme
The programme offers about 22 scholarships each year. These are for courses at any Scottish higher education institution. The scholarship covers the tuition fees, return economy airfare and a living allowance.
The course must be a Masters programme of not more than 12 months based in a Scottish institution.
