Chinese Government Scholarships
The Chinese Government Scholarships cover all levels of studies - Undergraduates, Master degrees and Doctoral degrees. A Chinese government full scholarship covers tuition fee, fee for basic learning materials, accommodation, living allowance and fee for outpatient medical service.
100% Full Fee Trust Africa Scholarships
Loughborough University is delighted to announce up to eight new full-fee scholarships to be available to new full-time international taught postgraduate students from Africa. The scholarships will cover 100% of the course fees for your chosen postgraduate taught course for one year.
Scholarship for a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering - Italy
The project offers international students the possibility to receive a scholarship and other benefits to graduate from the Politecnico di Torino. The gross amount of the Biella Campus scholarship is 10.000 Euro per year (30.000 Euro for the complete period).
Scholarships for Study in Africa
The following are scholarships for study in Africa. Some scholarships and grants are available to primary and secondary students. Most of these scholarships will offer full tuition fees and monthly stipends.
University of Glasgow Commonwealth Scholarships
Students of excellent academic calibre from developing Commonwealth countries may apply for a small number of Scholarships funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) in partnership with the University of Glasgow. The scholarships will provide fees at the Overseas Student rate; monthly stipend; return air fair from home country.
IATEFL Africa Scholarship
One IATEFL Africa Scholarship is usually awarded each year. Each IATEFL Africa IATEFL Africa Scholarship is worth in the region of £2000 including the registration for that conference.
Environment, Food, Health and Technology Scholarships
The University of Nottingham will offer SIX Scholarships for new students registering on Taught Masters programmes. The scholarships are intended to assist students from developing Commonwealth countries who, though of high academic calibre, would not be eligible for other British Government awards to enable them to study in Britain and would not otherwise be able to afford to do so.
Sexuality Leadership Development Fellowship, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa
The Africa Regional Sexuality Resource Centre (ARSRC) calls for applications from Africans and scholarship applications from citizens of Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, or South Africa, to its annual Sexuality Leadership Development Fellowship (SLDF) Programme. ARSRC scholarships cover tuition fees, post-fellowship grant, roundtrip travel expenses, as well as accommodation, meals, and incidental expenses.
Bernardin Scholars Program
The Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Center offers full tuition scholarships to top students from around the world who are committed to preparing for ministry and leadership in service to the church and the world.
Catholic Theological Union has established a variety of Theology Scholarship, each designed with specific ministry opportunities in mind. Lay men and women, women religious, and international diocesan priests are eligible for awards from the Theology Scholarships Fund.
Mohamedali Karimjee Trust
Mohamedali Karimjee Trust offers grants to African students to study in the UK. The grants are for study in the following subjects; Arts and Humanities, Business and Economics, Engineering and Computing, Law, Medicine, Health and Biomedical Sciences, Research Methods, Science and Maths, Social Sciences.
Each year, a number of VLIR Scholarships are available to students of developing countries, giving high-potential students the opportunity to study in Belgium. These scholarships cover all costs.
P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund
An applicant for P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study, working toward a graduate degree in a college or university in the United States or Canada. A student must not hold citizenship or permanent residency of the United States or Canada. The maximum amount awarded to a student is $8,000.
Sheffield Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, Sheffield Hallam University
The award covers tuition fees and living costs for the duration of a Masters course. To meet CSC eligibility criteria, candidates must be nationals of (or permanently domiciled in) a Commonwealth developing country, and not be currently living or studying in a developed country.
The University of Dayton offers merit-based scholarships to selected international undergraduate applicants. The International Undergraduate Student Scholarships are available to Students Worldwide.
Full Tuition Fee Waiver Scholarships in UK
University of Westminster is offering Full Tuition Fee Waiver Scholarships in UK. They are available to graduates of any University of Westminster undergraduate degree who plan to proceed to a full-time Masters degree within the University. The scholarship awards of £2,000 fee waivers.
Birmingham Law School Research Scholarships - UK
The Birmingham Law School proposes to award up to eight Research Scholarships for each academic year, up to a maximum value of £5,000 each, to contribute towards tuition fees and maintenance. Scholarships are tenable for one year in the first instance, renewable for up to two further years conditional on satisfactory progress being made.
Republic of Cyprus Scholarships for Study at CIIM Business School
The Republic of Cyprus is offering five (5) full scholarships of 12-months duration to study for the attainment of the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Public Sector Management Programme (MPSM) for the academic year 2008-2009. The deadline for the submission of applications is 30 June 2008.
Scholarships for Future International Correspondents
Young journalists are invited to attend Foreign Correspondents’ Program 2008. The scholarship covers the costs of travel to and from Finland, local travel in Helsinki, accommodations in a single room in a student hall of residence, and meals.
Scholarships for MSc in Environmental Technology & International Affairs
This MSc Program is designed to prepare the graduates to deal with international issues such as Climate change, water shortage and air pollution. The scholarship amount is EUR 15,000.
MSc and Diploma Bursaries, Cancer Research, UK
Candidates of any nationality may apply for these MSc and Diploma Bursaries, Cancer Research. The bursaries will provide course fees (please note that fees will be paid at the level for UK/EU students; where fees for overseas students are higher, Cancer Research UK will not fund the additional cost); Full-time students may apply for a contribution to living expenses (maximum £5,500 per annum).
Refugee Academic Grants
CARA-refugee academic grants aim to help refugee academics who are looking to take academic or professional qualifications to improve their employment prospects in the UK. A CARA grant can be used to cover tuition fees and related expenses. For example: exam or bench fees, research related costs, travel expenses, equipment costs (eg. computer), books, printing and stationery costs and childcare costs.
World Press Photo Contest
The annual World Press Photo contest offers an overview of how press photographers tackle their work worldwide and how the press conveys the news to the viewers, bringing together pictures from all parts of the globe to reflect trends and developments in photojournalism. The award carries a cash prize of EUR 10,000, as well as expenses to travel to Amsterdam for the Awards Days in April. The winner also receives one of Canon's latest professional digital cameras.
Collegiate Inventors Competition
Each year Collegiate Inventors Competition rewards and encourages hundreds of students to share their inventive ideas with the world. Each year up to 15 finalists receive an all-expenses paid trip to present their work to a panel of expert judges. One Undergraduate and one Graduate winner or team each receive $15,000. One Grand Prize winner or team receives $25,000.
Warwick Postgraduate Research funding
Warwick Graduate School is delighted to offer the Warwick Postgraduate Research Scholarships, which include: the payment of your academic fees at the Home/EU rate, a maintenance grant in line with the UK Research Council standard stipend (£12,940 for full-time award holders in 2008/2009).
The Room to Read Room to Grow Girls Scholarship
The Room to Grow Girls' Scholarship Program has an immediate and direct impact on the lives of thousands of girls in the developing world. Depending on the country and specific region the girls are in, the scholarship covers all the needs of a young girl, including: monthly school fees, school uniforms, books, stationary, and backpacks, transportation (such as a bicycle or bus fare) for girls living far from school, lunch money if the girls live too far from school to eat at home, medical check-ups and expenses, field trips and workshops.
Duke Law School Scholarships USA
Duke Law School has established two half-tuition merit scholarships for extremely well-qualified students to attend the 2008-2009 LLM program. The amount granted for the Duke Law School Scholarships is approximately USD $59,000.
Child Family Health International Scholarships
Child Family Health International (CFHI) is offering half and full scholarships during 2008 and 2009. Scholarships will be given to students who demonstrate a commitment to their communities as well as financial need and an interest in exchanging ideas and sharing experiences with people in Bolivia, Ecuador, India, Mexico and South Africa.
Research Plant Ecologist, Science & Technology Corporation
Science & Technology Corporation (STC), is searching for a full time plant ecologist to assist with wetland research efforts nationally. Salary is $45-60K.
Postgraduate Teaching Assistants - Birmingham Law School
Applications are welcome from well-qualified graduates working in any field of law for Postgraduate Teaching Assistants (PTAs) at Birmingham Law School. The School provides the following financial benefits for its PTAs: payment of fees for the period of registration (up to a maximum of the current home/EU student rate), normally not exceeding three years, payment of £12,300 pa; this figure is made up of an annual maintenance grant (£10,425) as well as payment for small group teaching (£1,875).
Graduate Student Opportunity in Alaska Peatland Experiment, University of Alaska Fairbanks
University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for a graduate research assistantship to conduct modeling studies of peatland responses to climate change as part of the NSF-funded Alaska Peatland Experiment. The assistantship can begin as early as summer 2008.

The Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering & Technology invites applications for funding from intending postgraduate researchers under the Embark Postgraduate Research Scholarship Scheme. Funding of €24,003 is provided for each of three years for Doctorate level research (total funding of €72,009) and one year (€24,003) for Masters level research.
Associate Professor of International Relations, University of Trento - Italy
The faculty of Sociology of the University of Trento seeks to appoint a full-time associate professor in the field of International Relations, starting in the academic year 2008-2009. Visiting Fellowships in Commonwealth Studies
Applications are invited for one or two Smuts Visiting Fellowships in Commonwealth Studies in association with a Visiting Fellowship at Wolfson College to be held during the academic year 2008/2009. Fellows will receive a contribution towards their expenses of £20,000 for a nine month stay.

Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship
The Skoll Awards provide later-stage, or mezzanine, funding, which is generally structured as a $1 million award paid out over three years. In most cases, the grant is provided for core support to help organizations expand their programs and capacity to deliver long-term, sustainable equilibrium change.
