A: Scholarships

  • Wildlife Conservation Society Grants

    About 17 grants to support wildlife conservation field research in Africa are available every year. Grants are for up to $25,000, and are for one year.

  • University of Edinburgh International Master's Scholarships

    The University of Edinburgh will offer sixteen Master's scholarships for postgraduate study in any subject offered by the University. Each scholarship will have a value of £3,000 which will be deducted from the tuition fee.

  • Global Health Scholarships

    The Sommer Scholars program seeks to train the brightest, most promising students from around the globe. The selected students will receive both full tuition and a stipend. In addition to regular course work, they will take part in a leadership program designed to develop their personal skills and foster both collaboration and networking opportunities.

  • Entrepreneurial Manager scholarships, Nyenrode Business Universiteit

    Nyenrode Business Universiteit is offering Entrepreneurial Manager scholarships for the 2008/2009 IMBA program. The scholarship offers full tuition fees.

  • LL.M Innovation, Technology and the Law Scholarships - The University of Edinburgh

    These scholarships are open specifically to assist students from developing countries. The two students who are selected will have the scholarship amount of £3,000. Awards will be made based on academic merit.

  • Cedo Nulli Scholarship for African Talent, Nyenrode Business Universiteit

    Nyenrode Business Universiteit is offering Cedo Nulli Scholarship for African Talent for the 2008/2009 IMBA program. The scholarship offers full tuition.

  • Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Graduate Scholarship Program

    The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Graduate Scholarship Program provides graduate education opportunities to exceptional conservationists from Africa. Individuals are selected based on their potential to become conservation leaders, influencing local or national conservation in their home country.

  • 2008 Economics Summer Academy, Garda Lake, Italy

    University of Verona is offering an internship program, and in the coming months hopes to obtain 3 scholarships for non-European students. The goal of this course is to offer students in economics and business administration, and young professionals in order to help them to find a suitable Master program and plan their further professional development.

  • Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan International Scholarship Programme, France

    The Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan (ENS de Cachan) has implemented a Scholarship Programme aimed at foreign students who are currently studying or have studied and obtained their latest diploma outside of France. The grant amounts to 1000 euros/month. These grants are awarded for a minimum period of one semester (six months) and a maximum period of 12 months not renewable.

  • International Environmental Research Center Internship Programme for Spring 2008

    International Environmental Research Center (IERC) is offering postgraduate students from developing countries the opportunity to participate in a 4-month training course in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, GIST. Applicants should be graduate students of universities or equivalent educational organizations.

  • MSc and MPH Public Health scholarship, University of Westminster

    The Public Health scholarship will offer full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. You are required to be an international student and hold an offer for the full-time MSc/MPH Public Health.

  • International Students House scholarships, University of Westminster

    The International Students House scholarships will offer full tuition fee waivers, accommodation at International Students House, living expenses and flights to and from London. You must demonstrate academic excellence, development potential and financial need.

  • MSc International Services Management scholarship, University of Westminster

    The MSc International Services Management scholarship will offer full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. You must be an international student and hold an offer for the full-time MSc International Services Management.

  • MSc Integrated Health Informatics scholarship, University of Westminster

    The MSc Integrated Health Informatics scholarship will offer full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. You must be an international student and hold an offer for the full-time MSc Integrated Health Informatics.

  • MA Globalisation, Development and Transition scholarship - University of Westminster

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must portray academic excellence, development potential and financial need. The applicant is also required to be an international student from a developing country.

  • Geoffrey Copland scholarship - University of Westminster

    The Geoffrey Copland scholarship offers full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree.

  • MA Fashion Business Management scholarship, University of Westminster

    The MA Fashion Business Management scholarship offers full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. The applicant must demonstrate cademic excellence, development potential and financial need.

  • Disaster regeneration scholarship, University of Westminster

    This scholarship is open to you if you are an international student from a developing country/region affected by a recent natural or man-made disaster. The scholarship offers full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.

  • Commonwealth Broadcasting Association scholarship

    The Scholarship offers full tuition fee waiver, accommodation at International Students House, living expenses and flights to and from London. You should have an intention of developing your skills in media, public relations or marketing through an appropriate full-time Masters degree.

  • MSc Digital Enterprise Management scholarship, University of Westminster, UK

    The MSc Digital Enterprise Management scholarship offers full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for the full-time MSc Digital Enterprise Management at the University.

  • Association of Commonwealth Universities scholarships

    These scholarships are available to you if you are a member of staff of the ACU member institutions in developing countries. The scholarship will offer full cost of study, including return airfare, fees and maintenance allowance.

  • International Photography Contest

    The program will award photo contest winners will receive some great prizes, including gift certificates at the Camera Shop of Hanover and the campus computer store, and the winning photography will be displayed in the new Haldeman Center ’s Russo Gallery. How well a photograph offers a “glimpse into the culture” and the artistic merit of a photographb are some points used as criteria for judging.

  • MIT Fellowships

    Each year, the Public Service Fellowship program provides MIT students with the opportunity to use their education, skills, and talents to address the needs of underserved communities around the world. The Fellowships stipend is $10 an hour for Individual and Group Fellowships.

  • World Press Photo of the Year Award

    Every year World Press Photo invites press photographers and photojournalists throughout the world to participate in the World Press Photo Contest. In each category both the photographer of the best single picture and the photographer of the best picture story/portfolio will receive a Golden Eye Award, a cash prize of EUR 1,500, and an invitation to Amsterdam to attend the awards ceremony in April (including one return flight ticket and hotel accommodation).

  • Library and Information Studies Scholarships

    The American Library Association (ALA) is currently accepting applications for its Library and Information Studies Scholarships. Applications are being accepted for scholarships for the Fall 2008 Semester, the deadline to apply is March 1, 2008.

  • CGIAR Award Programme

    The Award programme includes women at different stages of their careers and does not have an age limit. It will offer $13 million to African women who are set to play roles in boosting crop productivity.

  • International Postgraduate Scholarships in Engineering and Surveying

    University of Southern Queensland Faculty of Engineering and Surveying offers a number of scholarships to commencing International students who intend to undertake a Master of Engineering on-campus at USQ in Toowoomba or Springfield. A stipend of $10,000 is also available to assist with living expenses for the students who receive these scholarships.

  • Post-doctoral Position in Language Production and Neuroscience - Spain

    Applications are invited for a full-time post-doctoral research position in the Speech Perception, Production and Bilingualism at the Parc Científic of University of Barcelona (Spain). Candidates must have a completed PhD and strong background in developmental cognitive neuroscience, neuroscience, or cognitive psychology or related field.

  • IBM Herman Goldstine Memorial Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mathematical and Computer Sciences

    The Mathematical Sciences Department of the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center invites applications for its 2008-2009 Herman Goldstine Memorial Postdoctoral Fellowship for research in mathematical and computer sciences. One fellowship will be awarded with a stipend between $95,000 and $115,000.

  • International Paper Contest

    The Special Interest Group on International Information Issues (SIG-III) of the American Society for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T) is pleased to announce its ninth competition for papers to be submitted for the 2008 Annual Meeting, which will take place in Columbus, Ohio, October 24-29, 2008. The first place winner will be rewarded a minimum of $1,000 toward travel, conference registration, and accommodations while attending the ASIS&T Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio.

  • Tomorrow's Leaders Scholarship Program

    The U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and AMIDEAST are pleased to announce the Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program. High school senior or applicant who graduated from high school in 2007, who is a citizen or national of Egypt and qualified to hold a valid passport is eligible to apply.
