I-TECH Operations Manager, I-TECH, Maputo, Mozambique

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, International Development or a closely related field

• Minimum three (3) years relevant experience

• Proven track record in management-level administration

• Demonstrated administrative competence in financial operations, financial analysis, strategic planning, business planning and personnel management • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based structure

• Proven leadership, communication, team building and sophisticated problem-solving skills; attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Demonstrated ability to effectively address complex and sensitive administrative issues

• Computer skills including MS Word (at least intermediate-level), PowerPoint, Excel (at least intermediate level), Outlook or other internet software, and Access.

Ability to conduct searches for information on the world-wide-web.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with partners, staff, colleagues with a high level of tact, diplomacy, confidentiality, and cross-cultural sensitivity

• Fluent in English and Portuguese

Equivalent education/experience may substitute for required qualifications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in resource-poor countries, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa

• Experience working for an organization providing HIV/AIDS services

Conditions of Employment:

• This position is based in Maputo, Mozambique, and requires a minimum one-year commitment.

Relocation costs consistent with I-TECH policy may also be included in the benefits package if the employee qualifies.
