Technical Assistance to the National Authorizing Officer - Infrastructure

The assignment will commence on about 16th April.

The exercise calls for the following qualification s and expertise:

  • A university degree in Civil Engineering and membership of a recognised professional institution.
  • Not less than 10 years of work experience in road infrastructure development programmes, including practical experience in road construction and/or supervision, project administration and financial management of infrastructure programmes.
  • Practical experience in institutional and policy development and capacity building in the transport sector will be advantageous.
  • Practical experience of EDF regulations and conditions of contract as applied to works, supplies and services on large infrastructure programmes would be a significant asset, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa.
