Child Protection Manager - Kenya

To undertake this position, you must have at least 5 years international experience working on child protection issues in complex emergencies including work with refugee children, children associated with fighting forces, separated children and GBV issues.
You should have a solid knowledge base and practical experience in community based child protection approaches, including experience in participatory approaches (PRA/PLA) and child participation methodologies.
You should be able to think and plan strategically and have experience of proposal and report writing.
You should also have strong representation skills and experience of working through systems of community participation, and we will be looking for an adaptable, flexible individual with strong training skills and experience of participatory teaching methods.
You should be prepared to live and work in basic conditions and in uncertain security environments.
