Research is focussed on developing human embryonic stem cell therapy for treatment of multiple sclerosis in mouse EAE models.
Central is the use of MR imaging and bioluminescent imaging to follow the biodynamics of cell migration and cell survival and to non-invasively image changes in myelin content.
Candidate should ideally be a fresh PhD or postdoc with less than 2 years of experience.
Expertise with neurosurgery, histology, and stem cell cultures a must.
Imaging experience is not required but candidate is expected to master this shortly after arrival.
