ABC Bank and Insurance Jobs

Location: Kenya.

The ABC bank and its group companies invite application from dynamic self-motivated, energetic and fully qualified candidates for the various positions available.

1. ABC Insurance Brokers Limited

General Manager

Minimum requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce, Finance or Accounting degree from a recognize university.
  • ACII qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience with at least 3 years in a similar position.

    Sales and marketing Executive

    Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field.
  • Certificate or higher qualification in sales and marketing.
  • Certificate of proficiency (COP).
  • Have at least 4 years relevant experience in the insurance industry.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.

    Insurance Underwriter

    Minimum requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce, Insurance degree from a recognized university.
  • At least 7 years experience in underwrite in a busy firm.
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of insurance software.
  • Certificate of proficiency (COP).
  • Knowledge of International Insurance Report standards.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    2. African Banking Corporation Limited

    Relationship Manager – SME Banking

    Minimum requirements:

  • Be a holder of University degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in banking in senior position in retail/corporate relationship management.

    Credit Analyst

    Minimum requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce, Insurance degree from a recognized university.
  • Professional qualification in financial management and accounts.
  • Cash flow management and analysis skills.
  • At least 3 years experience in the establishment and management of banking solutions.

    Risk Manager – Risk and Compliance

    Minimum requirements:

  • A University degree in Commerce/Business Management /Economics/Finance or Statistics; a Certificate/Diploma in Risk Management from a recognized institute.
  • At least 5 years experience in Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance or Credit Operations in banking or financial services firm.
  • Exposure to enterprise risk management concepts, frameworks and methodologies.
  • Well versed in the various banking processes and products.
  • Literacy on MS Office suite is a MUST.

    Concurrent Audit

    Minimum requirements:

  • Be a holder of University degree in Accounting or Auditing and CPA (K).
  • CISA qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in banking in a similar position.
  • 2 years experience on Finacle platform.
  • 10 years of combined banking and audit experience (with Finacle platform for minimum 5 years) could be considered in lieu of the CPA (K) qualification.

    Officer – Treasury Back Office

    Minimum requirements:

  • Be a holder of University degree in Business related field.
  • CPA (K) qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in similar position.

    3. ABC Capital Limited

    Equity Traders

    Minimum requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business related field.
  • CFA, ACCA OR CPA qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the Stock Market with bias towards portfolio management.
  • Strong analytical ability or technical concentration including analysis of intraday stock and market patterns.
  • Experience in sales and proven ability to achieve.

    Fixed Income Dealers

    Minimum requirements:

  • A bachelor degree in a business or related field.
  • CFA, ACCA OR CPA qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the Stock Market with bias towards portfolio management.
  • Experience in sales and proven ability to achieve.

    Corporate Finance Manager

    Minimum requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Business Finance.
  • Full professional qualification as CAP (K), ACCA or CFA.
  • At least 5 years practical experience in corporate finance.
  • Proven track record in corporate finance and financial modeling.
  • Evidence of successful projects concluded within the last three years and the specific role played by the applicant.
