14. KASNEB Administrative Assistant - Customer Service, Front Office Jobs in Kenya - Job Level 8 (2 Posts) - Ref:HCA/MCA/AAFO/2/2017


Overall purpose
The Administrative Assistant II, Customer Service, Front Office will be responsible for providing and promoting professional high quality and frontline customer focused service point.

Key duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Officer, Customer Service, the Administrative Assistant II, Customer Service, Front Office will be responsible for:
  • Providing service to customers through responding promptly and fully to queries.
  • Handling customer complaints and customer feedback through the various communication channels.
  • Providing accurate information regarding the qualifications, examination applications and registration procedures to customers and referring them to relevant
    contacts as applicable.
  • Welcoming, directing/announcing visitors and relaying messages as appropriate.
  • Managing adherence to security procedures/access control.
  • Receiving, sorting and registering letters and other documents and ensuring delivery to requisite offices.
  • Carrying out all administrative tasks relating to the customer service centre and any necessary follow up work in relation to incoming calls and written enquiries.
  • Providing support and assistance in implementing marketing programmes for the Unit.
  • Ensuring risk management in the area of operation.
  • Ensuring the implementation of the ISO Quality Management System in the area of operation.
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Academic/Professional Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Customer Service or related discipline.
  • Minimum one (1) year relevant experience.

    15. KASNEB Administrative Assistant - Staff Welfare (Cooperative Office) Jobs in Kenya - Job Level 8 (1 Post) - Ref: HCA/SWCO/2/2017

    Overall purpose
    The Administrative Assistant II, Staff Welfare (Cooperative Office) will be responsible for managing the KASNEB Cooperative Savings and Credit Society.

    Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Evaluating loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate recording of all transactions.
  • Preparing monthly payroll deductions.
  • Preparing budgets and cash flow projections.
  • Ensuring property management
    of the co-operative office.
  • Preparing monthly financial accounts and reports for management decisions.
  • Preparation of payments to members and other Creditors.
  • Preparing members quarterly accounts statements.
  • Processing loan applications for disbursement.
  • Processing all payments on insurance and affiliation fees.
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Preparing and maintaining member’s personal accounts.
  • Updating cash disbursement and receipt journals.
  • Updating monthly guarantee schedules.
  • Reconciling all check-offs and other remittances with ledgers and member accounts.
  • Undertaking bank reconciliations.
  • Assist the Board of Directors of the Sacco to implement checks and controls.
  • Ensuring tax and statutory deductions administration.
  • Ensuring that all transactions involving the Sacco expenditure are properly authorised.
  • Liaising and answering queries raised by auditors.
  • Ensuring risk management within the area of operation.
  • Ensuring the implementation of the ISO Quality Management System.
  • Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Academic/Professional Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma in Cooperative Management, Business Administration, Management or related discipline from a recognised institution.
  • At least CPA Part II.
  • Proficiency in accounting packages.
  • At least one (1) year experience in Sacco management.

  • Satisfy the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
