Requirements

An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited and recognised university.

At least three (3) years teaching experience at the university as a Senior Lecturer or Senior Research /industry experience or equivalent.

A minimum of Forty (48) publication points as a senior lecturer or equivalent of which at least thirty-two (32) should be from refereed scholarly journals.

Supervised a minimum of four (4) postgraduate students to completion including at least one (1) doctoral student as a Senior Lecturer.

Attracted research or development funds as a senior lecturer/senior research fellow.

Registered with a relevant professional body.

South Eastern University Senior Lecturer Grade 13 Kenya Jobs

An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification (or a Master’s degree qualification in special cases) in the relevant area from recognized/accredited university.

At least three (3) years teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer or (six (6) years research/industry experience.

A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as a lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty-four (24) should be from refereed scholarly journals.

Supervised at least three (3) postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent.

Registered with the relevant professional body.

Requirements

An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized university; and be registered or registerable with the relevant professional body.
OR

A Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized/accredited university (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level.

A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers;

Registered with the relevant professional body in exceptional circumstances e.g. Medicine, Engineering, Law, Nursing etc.

Job summary and Responsibilities

Reporting to Technologist Grade AB, Junior Technologist /Technician Grade III/IV shall have the following duties:

To assist in conducting practicals in relevant disciplines.

Any other duties as assigned by the Principal Technologist

Requirement for Appointment

KCSE mean grade C or its equivalent plus GTT 1 with 5 years experience

Certificate in relevant field (Geography, Cartography, Geographic survey/Photogrammetry, Agronomy)
