Full MA Scholarships in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies for International Students and Students from Developing Countries. Call for Scholarship Applications.

Q. I am writing to you in order to inquire about the funding possibilities to pursue MA in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies ACTS.

While going through the website of the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPCS), I was convinced that the ACTS course will enable me both as a student and development worker to strengthen my capacity and competence in the field of conflict transformation and peace building.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and have ample amount of volunteer and professional experience in working with a range of National and International NGOs, government institutions, civil society organizations (I will be happy to send you my C.V. be needed)

I had applied for the course last year also but as I couldn't find the necessary funding, I wasn't selected. I am unable to pay myself for any of the costs as my family is dependent on me economically.

Due to the fact that I will have to continue my work, this course is ideal for me as I can manage to spare time for the residential seminars. The dates for the seminars are:

Module One Residential Seminar: March 17 - 28.
Module Two Residential Seminar: June 2 – 13.
Module Three Residential Seminar: November 3 - 14.
Module Four Residential Seminar: March (two weeks)
Module Five Residential Seminar: June/July (two weeks)
Module Six Residential Seminar: November (two weeks).

For your information, please find below the course fees and overview of other expenses:

The course fee is USD 2500 per year (USD 5000 in total for two years of study). I need financial support to cover the cost of two ways airfare for the residential seminars,accommodation,Visa,Departure Tax, local transportation cost including the fare from the

airport to the center and back to the airport, food...etc.

I would like to know if you could let me know if there is such a way to secure the necessary funding.
