16. Clerical Officer III Jobs in Kenya Job Group ‘F’ (5 Posts) - Ref: KSM/CPSB/2017/213


Requirements for Appointment
  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ or its approved equivalent.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution.
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    An officer at this level will be deployed in the HRM unit, general registry, supplies, and account office. Specific duties will include:
  • Compiling statistical records.
  • Sorting, filling and dispatching letters.
  • Maintaining an efficient filling system.
  • Processing documents on appointments, promotion, discipline cases, transfers and related duties in human resource management.
  • Computation of financial or statistical records based on routine or special sources of information.
  • Preparing payment vouchers.
  • Compiling data and drafting simple letters.
  • Giving office related information to Human Resource Manager when required.

    Requirements for Appointment
  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Must have served in the grade of Assistant Electrical Engineer I- Building Services or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for at least three (3) years.
  • Be Registered with the Board of Registration of Engineers in Kenya (EBK or IEK).
  • Membership with Board of Registration of Engineers in Kenya (EBK or IEK).
  • Must have attended a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from recognized institution.
  • Certificate in Computer Applications.
  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution.
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.

    Duties and responsibilities
  • Preparation of schemes, designs and production drawings of projects.
  • Coordination of project documentation.
  • Supervision of projects during construction and maintenance.
  • Checking on sketch/scheme designs.
  • Conducting filed surveys and user reaction investigations.
  • Analysis of data from filed surveys.
  • Establishment of Electrical Engineering standards.

  • User reaction surveys.
  • Analysis of field survey data.
  • Establishment of new Electrical Engineering standards.
  • Preparation of sketch/scheme designs.
  • Production of drawings and post contract administration.
