What really killed Joseph Nkaissery? Foul play?

Joseph Nkaissery has never been to hospital for a serious ailment.

Detectives have launched investigations into the death of Joseph Nkaissery.

Investigators camped at the Bomas of Kenya, one of the places late Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery visited on Friday night - 7/7/2017.

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero says on Friday, during a prayer rally, he and Nkaissery conversed about security matters regarding the August 8 elections.

On Friday, Kajiado County Commissioner Harsama Kello spoke on phone with Nkaissery about a fundraiser he was scheduled to attend in Ngatataek.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery was confirmed dead upon arrival at Karen Hospital early Saturday morning - 8/7/17.

The CS fell sick on Friday evening and was rushed to the city hospital.

His last public appearance was at a prayer event at Uhuru Park on Friday.

His body has been moved to Lee Funeral Home.

The cause of his death is still unknown.

Nkaissery was aged 67 at the time of his death.

He was scheduled to attend a fundraising event for needy children at Ilbisil in Kajiado Central on Saturday.

Nkaissery's wife Hellen, was admitted at a Nairobi hospital after she suffered shock following the death of the CS.

He was as late as 9.30 Friday night discussing issues pertaining to peace, unity in Kenya with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Education CS Fred Matiang'i has been appointed as acting Interior Cabinet Secretary.
