Food for the Hungry Construction Engineer Jobs in Uganda


Job Summary

To provide technical oversight to Food for the Hungry Construction Projects. Ensure successful implementation of all Construction infrastructures and initiatives.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

Key Result #1:

  • Managing, designing, developing, creating and maintaining construction projects

    Key Result #2:

  • Network, Partnership and Community Mobilization

    Key Result #3:

  • Quality Assurance – Monitoring, Reporting and Documentation

    Key Result #4:

  • Risk Management and Compliance

    Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

  • University Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 4 years of previous experience in design and Construction work supervision with development agency.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, GPS mapping software is added advantage.
  • Good command of oral and written English is a must, local language skills are an asset.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, a team leader able to work with minimum supervision
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and emotional maturity
  • Motor Riding and/or Driving Skills is an advantage
