Country Coordinator
The person will be responsible for delivering projects that are eligible for funding under the Clean Development Mechanism
(CDM) and the CDM Gold Standard carbon credit issuing authorities.
The person will co-ordinate employees and contractors
to implement projects that deliver social, environmental and economic benefits to local people across various locations in Ethiopia.
Minimum Qualification and Requirements:
You must have:
Proven experience in project management and leading a team within the non-for-profit sector
Minimum 3 years working experience in development projects in environmental, conservation, forestry or related sectors
Proven communication skills, with the ability to motivate people and maintain good relationships with local partners and authorities
An understanding of logistics and strong experience in budget management
Good organisation and negotiation skills
Good training/capacity building and leadership skills, proven initiative and flexibility
Strong research and analytical skills
Keen attention to detail and the ability to solve problems
Educated to degree level in an environmental or scientific discipline
Excellent written and spoken English, in addition to Amharic language
IT Literacy
